This is a Limited Release First Pressing Gourmet Extra Virgin Olive Oil that is extremely low in acidity. Each bottle is hand dated with the acidity shown. This oil has a pleasant fruity taste and a deep green color.
As defined by WIKIPEDIA: Extra-virgin olive oil comes from virgin oil production only, contains no more than 0.8% acidity, and is judged to have a superior taste. Extra Virgin olive oil is used on salads, in pestos, added at the table to soups and stews, for bread dipping and hundreds of other uses. This quality Olive Oil is usually reserved for consumption without cooking but is excellent for sauteing as well.
